stylized map of Frankfurt

As of September 1, 2025, PRIF has moved into its new location in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. The housewarming was celebrated as a festive event attended by numerous guests from the academic, business, and civil society sectors. Astrid Wallmann, President of the Hessian State Parliament; Timon Gremmels, Minister of State for Science and Research, Art, and Culture of the State of Hesse; and City Councilor Dr. Bernd Heidenreich, representing the Mayor, offered their congratulations. Afterward, guests were invited to explore the new premises and experience the Institute’s past and present.

879 Book Carts

A particular logistical challenge: the relocation of the PRIF Library, which required 879 book carts. Germany’s largest specialized library in the field of peace and conflict studies now offers modern reading and workspaces at its new location.
